Blogger boot camp

Great session! As usual, Tzvi was knowledgeable, and PATIENT! Will definitely use this year in my classes.

frog hunting

Frogs, I've never liked them. Actually, I have not had too many opportunities to meet with them. They have never been a threat, until...
We went hiking on the White mountains in New Hampshire. We planed a peaceful, quit and relaxing hike to, whatever its name, mountain. The weather was great, everything around us was green, the kids were busy climbing up, Until. Until, they discovered the frogs. I didn't know they had affection to frogs, but it turned to be that during their time in the summer camp they have got friendly with frogs. The minute they saw them they had to demonstrate as how to catch them, how to make them jump, how to hide them in one's shirt and so.
Needless to say we didn't reach the summit.

What I did this summer

This summer I went to St. Martin with all my children and my grandaughter. We have been going there since 1987. We love the weather, the beach and the great food but most of all we love being together for a whole week of relaxation.

This Summer

The highlight of this summer was our trip to California for a wedding. We spent a few days in Santa Monica enjoying the shore and weather.  We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Tierra Sur.

Thank you for the help you provided this morning with the problem-attic program.

I am not sure how useful this will be but your presentation was useful.

Problem Attic Workshop

This was an excellent workshop. Last year we learned how to create a document using the Problem Attic database. This workshop made it very clear how to do other things with these documents, most importantly creating an online quiz or assignment, and then using Problem Attic to assess the students' answers.

Problem Attic Training

Even as the resident expert on Problem-Attic, I learned a TON! Rabbi Pittinsky's presentation was through, hands-on, and valuable. What makes the sessions most helpful is that we don't learn just computer tricks and skills but brainstorm as a group how to integrate the technology into our teaching.  Hearing ideas  and scenarios from other teachers is fabulous.  It takes what I am learning to a whole new level.

Reflections on Problem Attic class

This was a great class. I learned how to create a quiz. I am looking forward to using the tool that analyzes and collects data for how each student did as well as how the class understood the material has a whole. Great class!!!
